Great time and experience with the people at Integrated Community Services, when they hired us to tell their story several months ago. With our portrait and photo-journalism approach, our goal was to capture it’s mission of working with individuals with any disability that includes those diagnosed with mental health issues, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum, traumatic head injuries, learning disabilities, substance use issues, physical, visual, cognitive and hearing impairments.
Their staff is made up of Independent Living Skills trainers, job coaches and employment counselors that partner with people with disabilities to meet their individual employment and living goals. They are based in San Rafael in Marin County CA., serving over 300 individuals a year.
We're a photography team specializing in photography for a variety of editorial, commercial, corporate, and non-profit clients that include Stanford University, McKesson, Oracle, MotherJones.com, TechWomen, and Rubicon Programs. We love doing portraits of the fascinating people we meet - artists, scientists, business men and women, educators and students, visionaries, entrepreneurs, children and families, and telling their stories. We live in Alameda in the S.F. Bay Area with our 2 sons - Bryce, 19, and Micah, 14.
